These chair slipcovers do the trick – and do it well. They’re made of fairly substantial cottom fabric, they’re easy to get on, and easy to tie up in back – which helps you gather in any excess fabric. The final result looks classy and not fussy – at least on my chairs – and the price is a bargain.

I bought these to cover our nice white chairs since I have infants that are starting to crawl around and make a mess. These are fabulous! Nice, soft material, easy to put on and great neutral color matches virtually any decor. I would totally recommend these. And the price on Amazon for these is unbeatable!! I was shopping around and this is the best price I’ve seen.

The covers are in their described condition (though need a good ironing before use!) and add a nice touch to our eat-in kitchen. Fit perfectly over our chairs.

I like this material and the design but they slip off our seats too easily (when someone slides on or off the seat). I am considering stapling them under the chair so they will not slip off. Perhaps our chair seats are larger then most… The material is nice but not very thick so if I staple them I will place some layer of cloth to protect the seat from liquids…

I have slightly wider than standard dining room chairs and wanted chair covers to protect them since I was expecting a baby. The fact that these were stretch pique seemed ideal. And it did work well to fit these chairs. However the material slips and slides and stretches more than needed on the chairs. When we sit in these chairs, we always have to readjust the chair covers afterwards to make sure the corners are moved back into place (they stretch downward or shift across the chair seat). They work for what I bought them for, but I wish they would stay in place better.

I bought these slipcovers for our dining table to break up the wood-on-wood look. Unfortunately, they looked awful. The color was much darker than the photos, which didn’t bother me, but they didn’t fit well AT ALL. I measured (twice) to make sure they would fit, and although I didn’t expect a perfect fit, they were super loose and sloppy. What is the point of the stretch fabric if it is just going to hang loosely on most of the chairs that fit the advertised dimensions. It was too short in the back, and perfect in the front. I only had to try one to instantly return it to its package and return them. As a side note, I rarely return purchases, even when I’m slightly unhappy with them. These were bad.

If you are looking for a perfect fit in a slipcover, get this, you won’t be disappointed. I even have a padded “roll” at the top of my parson chair and there was no problem with the fit. They stretch to fit. Great product.

These dining chair covers are okay, but they’re not exactly what I expected.
First of all, they’re kind of short — the picture shows them coming all the way down to the ground, but on a standard size parsons chair (which is what I have) they’re actually about 2 inches above the floor. This wasn’t particularly problematic in this case since the chairs I was using in this case (I’m a realtor who stages houses) had dark brown wood legs, so it didn’t look too bad with the legs peeking out a little. I have another set of chairs, however, that are an ugly burgundy upholstery all the way around the chair — including the legs — and those chairs would have looked bad if the legs were peeking out from under the cover.
The other thing I had a problem with was that these covers were actually back-ordered, but no one told me after I placed my order. When they hadn’t arrived after several weeks, I called Amazon, and was told that they were back-ordered and that it would be several more weeks before they came in! This is unacceptable.
I don’t guess the back-order problem is really Amazon’s fault since they’re being sold through a reseller (the reseller in this case was Macy’s) and they were the ones who failed to notify me of the status, but if you need these chair covers quickly, you may want to think about ordering them from somewhere else or at least order them from another reseller here at Amazon.
One last thing is that the covers are kind of wrinkly, but because of the texture of the pique fabric and the fact that they’re so stretchy, you can’t really iron them. I tried the old trick of putting them in the dryer with a wet towel and that didn’t do much for them. The wrinkles do fade some after you leave them sitting a while on the chairs, but they never really looked as ‘crisp’ as I would have liked.
Overall, I would probably not buy these covers again — I would be more likely to get covers that could be ironed and go all the way down to the floor.
